| How to show the mobile cell frequency? Is there any Android app show the operating GSM frequency? For example, in this small town, I am using T-Mobile SIM prepaid GSM EDGE network. But do not know the operating GSM frequency. I can get low cost two GSM frequency mobilel. The four GSM frequency mobile price is much higher. I know the 4 GSM frequency are 900MHz, 1800MHz, 850MHz, 1900MHz. The cheaper low price 2 GSM frequency mobile are for 900 & 1800MHz. How can I find out what frequency the cell tower is operating in my small town? Thank you. |

| How to show the mobile cell frequency? To determine which frequency your cell phone is on, visit the website WirelessAdvisor.com ™ - Cellular phones and wireless phone service information. Since 1998. Enter your ZIP code on the website and press "Search" to view the results If your carrier operates on only one frequency band, the result will appear in the highlighted field titled "SYSTEM." If your carrier has two frequencies showing in the results–800 MHz and 1,900 MHz, then they are operating on the 800 MHz band. |
