Iridium information exchange?

I have the firmware (emmibox) file for both the 9505 and 9500 Motorola ISUs, as well as the Kyocera ISU firmware files and flash software.

I have the emmi_ldr program from Iridium (which is the same as any other emmi box loader, I am sure).

As well, I have the DSC bus Developer's Guide, and the BIC 3.1 Specs in PDF format.

I am interested in any information on the Motorola ISU units...

I'd be interested in the software for the 9500. Are you still a member of the forum?

Yes, I am still a member.

As a bit of an update, the new 9505a and 9555 Iridium phones are based on a non motorola architecture (actually, oddly enough, they use off the shelf stuff for most of the processing).

I still do have the information on the 9500 and 9505 - what, if anything, could you offer in trade?

I am not entirely sure what I could offer you in exchange, and im not sure what information you are interested in regards to iridium. But as an iridium subscriber, i could probably talk a lot regarding the subject.

I would be very grateful if you had something like INC0620 for the Motorola 9500. Its for a good cause and a very interesting project.

Feel free to PM me details as to your project - if it sounds at all interesting, I'll give you access to my info repository on Iridium, which includes full firmware.

A couple interesting files I have:
Program_EMMI_INC0620.exe
Program_EMMI_LAC0307.exe

Both are archives, which have firmware file and flash utils.

For which ISU is that? The ID doesn't ring a bell.

lokkju, do you mind sending me a link to the Kyocera 061N f/w?
I would love to have the full SMS menus enabled on my phone.

Kyocera

Anyone have info or the f/w update for the Kyocera SS-66K?

I guess the RS-232 data cable from the SD-66K is required to flash, which would be another pain to acquire/build...
