Member: 459233 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | EMMI Box opinions and sources... I'm looking for a fully functional Motorola EMMI Box for use with my StarTAC 7000G and 8000G phones. Until now I have been using BDM, but would like to take advantage of the DSC Bus and not have to take the phones apart. I'd like to be able to read and write firmware, startup graphics, perform unlocking, etc. Plus have the possibilty of changing IMEI (can already do this with ASIM, but only on older software) is nice if you have to change cases and want the numbers to match. There's a lot of information and people willing to sell you stuff, but I'd like to be sure that I'm not going to be cheated AND that I'm buying the correct product. I was even thinking that I might be able to make my own if I removed the BIC chip from one of my phones, but don't know if the Bus Interface works the same on all the BICs. Was looking at the MotoKey post, but the links seem to either not work or need a subscription to Yahoo. Any other page to look at the project where I don't need to give personal info or sign up for yet another group? So, what are the suggestion of the group on EMMI Boxes and a good source for them. BTW I prefer PAYPAL, even if I have to pay a little extra. Thanks in Advance! Cheers, Trev Long Beach, CA |
