Motorola V50 Replacing Screen + Software - GSM-Forum

Does anyone have any info on how to take one of these phones apart as the screen needs replacing, I'm sure there's some threads out there explaining how to do this.
Also is there any software available to unlock this phone ?
Will the same software work on the 3688 & 3690 also ?

wow blast from the past!

The V50 was a pain in the a$$ to strip, u have to remove the led lens (signal indicator) next to the aerial, it wont come apart without it, if u have the LCD with the ribbon allready attatched its actually quite easy if youve changed LCD's in flip fones before, to unlock it u need EMMI box and the like, not easy.

Also where can you buy these EMMI boxes ?
