Motowin 9.7 error 2801 - GSM-Forum

I have a roemmi 2 and Motokey and using Teleway manual for motokey I can use all direct functions in Motowin 9.7, and I can read logos etc, but when I try to read flash I get error message 2801.

I have connected the motokey directly to the roemmi 2, plugged it into the lpt port and connected it to usb and to the phone, I get a green light when connecting to the usb and I get a red light when I switch on the phone.

I have selected 4mb as the flash size and have entered the firmware (AC.06.27) into the "select bin file area" and pressed "save" then when I press "read flash" the phone disconnects and comes up error 2801.

There is no sim card in the phone and I have tried on four different pc,s using either win 98 se and win xp with same result.

If anyone can offer some advice it would be gratefully received

ps I am wanting to read the flash from a Jaguar startac 130 to put into another startac 130 if this is relevant.

Hi,
this happens to me before and i was wondering if the roemmi device is the problem. but i had error 2401..or something like that. the problem is that the roemmi if very senstive to voltage even i was using the USB for the power but still i was not able to flash the phones ....ect.. my trick was to add a diode in series with the +. so open the roemmi cut the track coming from the USB and solder a diode i used 1n4001. and then try.
let us know if this helps.
Also my advice i found using Pemaster only if better.this is upon my experience.

Hi Guys,

Re the jaguar Startac. i have read the Flex file from a jaguar Startac and re-flexed another phone and copied the bitmap for the logo. Ive also done the 57# reset. Problem is the phone doesn't work after...will not pick up UK networks. Anyone had this problem

Hi all, i know this is an old thread, but you never know,

I'm still wondering if somebody has information or experience with flashing a normal startac 130 working in a jaguar incarkit? Did is work finally??
