a1000 hpw to reset the fone ?? - GSM-Forum

hello all
i have a a1000 fone wich does run any programme bcoz of low memory ...but the fone doesnot alow to delete any itom.... please tell me what i can do to make the fone work again ..will i have to reset the fone ... if yes. how ??

Do a master clear which can be found in the ontrol panel. Make sure you backup everything if you can. You can also send contacts from the menu via bluetooth, email etc.

it doesn't allow even to open control panel .

If you can't even delete stuff or run any programs then you in a bit of a bother. The only solution maybe is to reflash the phone yourself. Search in the forums for info about flashing the a1000.

There is no simple solution to your problem however the phone has a self reformat function but this only happens if the c: becomes about 1.5mb or less free. The phone will reboot itself and take ages to reformat. So you think it's stuck in a reboot loop but it is reformating itself. So if you could recieve some files to fill up the c: via usb, infrared or bluetooth then it might just trigger the reformat function.
