Member: 53791 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | A1000 turns off ?? A *******r came to me with a A1000 phone. He tried flashing it himself and after he did it will only turn on for a second and display the Motorola 3G logo in the bottom of the screen and then it turns off again.... He tried flashing it multiple times and flashing goes well with RSD_LITE but it does not help on the status of the phone.. I can get it into bootloader mode and it uses bootloader version 01.02.11 .. What could be wrong ? I read somewhere that it might be the PDS area that is bad but as i am quite new to motorola phones i dont quite know what this is ... (Have been doing nokia, SonyEricsson and the like for years but have just recently bought moto equipment.).. I have USB-Smart but it seems that this will not repair the PDS area ? (If indeed it is the PDS area that is damaged ?) Twisterfan |

Member: 60779 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Try flashing with the highest possible file. 54.xx.xx, see this forum machman.gotdns.com, they have lots of recent superfiles for A1k (USB-Smart support doesn't have them). I had the same issue with the same phone and smae ap bootloader. I bet Bp bootloader must be 0.6.3.2. when flashed with a lower firmware these phones either go into loop mode or just flash the Motorola symbol for a second and turn off. Try flashing two or three higher version firmwares. Need anything pm me. Use RSD lite. |
