Member: 69727 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 49 | a920 menu lock i have tried to unlock the phone with smart-clip, it went normal, but the problem it still there, i have try reading information with smartmoto, it shows 1234 and 000000, and when i apply this code it still giving me incorrect code, i have tried **057* or **057*0 but it didnt help the matter, please can somebody tell me what to do next..... i have checked SC bootloader site, so that i can flash the phone, but a920 is not there.???? best regard SIXTUS |

Member: 49044 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 8 | simple solution, just reflash your phone menu lock gone, and if i am not wrong mss4 cant read this code because its not user ccode or security code the protection is in symbian os. So just reflash your phone and lock is gone. |

Member: 184967 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | there's two solution from my experience using A920 and A925 from these problem...you can try each or both of em...  first, reflash your A920 WITH A925 firmware...by doing this you'll get A925 features inside your A920...how to do this ? download A925_Upgrade_REL_30.80.20 & PST 6.7 - 7.2.3 + patch...after you finished patch your PST and test PST...plug your USB cable data to PC and put it your A920...your A920 must in bootloader mode, battery, SD and SIM card removed...to make your A920 on bootloader mode hold game A & B button, plug USB cabledata then plug your charger port to USB cabledata with releasing the games button...if you doing it right you'll see bootloader screen that written "Waiting for PST"...then open MFF inside C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST,you'll see your A920 detected on MFF...prepare the firmware file (it's an SHX file...) then press "Start" button...dont mess with any of em when still processing flash mode... after Flash had success, flash it again one more time to make it be a usefull phone...if you do it only one time you cannot make or even retrieve a phone call...trust me...  second, you can force your A920 to get into hard reset...your files on phone memory like contacts, messages, etc gonna be lost...same like when you got it reflash BUT still using A920 firmware... how to do this ?open your battery cover then remove your SD, SIM card...you'll see there's a hole near stylus placed...put stylus there and hold game A+B button then put back the battery to make it boot the phone...this take 15 minutes, if this not work then you better reflash the phone...cos this reset is hard to do... do it with your own risk, i'll not responsible for any of these guide cos i got em from other forum...  |
