C330 still dead - GSM-Forum

Hi to everyone !
So story goes on ..
Every time i try to flex the phone ... error TCI - so interface is dead
every time i try to full flash the phone :
with PST -> error ereasing subscriber unit
with VIC > error ereasing flash

So no flash possible , tried it on Win98 and XP
hmm does it really means she's dead

Do you guys know other way to erease this damn flash
and revive my c330 ???

In fact, the problem is that the phone is already in flash mode and when PST or Victor's try to switch the phone in flash mode the phone turns off ! Is there any solution to direct send the flash to the phone ? (No switch phone in flash mode !)

This seems to be our solution ...
Monsieur SPUNLOCK ...
maybe there is a way to block this switch .. or erase tho phone flash before ..
waiting to see some ideas ..

My solution to flash phones that stuck in flash mode...

I manually removed "Motorola Flash Interface" from device manager when running Victor Soft. Then it recognized the phone again, and sent bootloader without problem.

For me it worked 2 times... (Number of phones that stopped while flashing under 98 SE)

Any other ideas ...
does the eeprom in Neptune proc has external eeprom reset
Anyone have a tech doc of this proc ??

U killed the phone or it was dead when U got it?
Are U sure is not a physical problem or the flash chip broken?

No when i got the phone it was ok ..
i tried to change the logo and everything .. it was ok
but when i changed eeprom file with vic ( it was ok )
of course after power off new eeprom file started to work
and obviously problem occured ..
So it went blank after changing eeprom , which was not a best idea .
Maybe now flash commands are not working ..
i'm not sure because i do not know the architecture of Nuptun gsm controllers ...
The eeprom i used was for the c330 .. maybe it was corrupted .
Any other questions , i'll be happy to answer !

Dear All,

This problem of stop flashing at 40% /50% happened to me last two months, I was just wait for a solution with bad luck. but I come to nofice that , this problem may occur due to lack of power.
Before flashing you need to charge your battery.
Another problem is that, the manufacturer of these phone they complicated them even if you want to change the dead battery you have to open whole phone and disturb the warranty period. and their battery is not stay longer as that result the complain of client who do not want to remove the warranty note.
Take care before servicing this Models of C3xx Series you have to explain what you will do to ensure trustness of your client.

Any way we want a good solution even by paying instead keeping client to become mad

COOL !! I already noticed that ...
Remark that warranty is over , when you changed your soft for the first time ...
And sure it is when the flash stuck in the middle ...
Nevertheless this brings nothing to the solution ...

1. You have suse full battery
2. delete file motorola.log
3. reflash

Apart from all what has been written above,
You may have to flash phone with the latest software.
Make sure that you are not flashing with Asian (TA02_AS) instead of Europe (TA02_G) or the other way round.

And when you are flashing, hold the battery firmly . . sometimes, contact could be a problem

I put the phone on external power and I tryed to flash whit european Lp. Still nothing.
