Unlocking the WAP browser - GSM-Forum

Hey guys.. I just bought an unlocked phone off of someone on ebay. And he didnt say anything on the auction about the WAP browser being locked. If it is locked, is there a way where I can unlock it WITHOUT sending my phone to some shop to do it? Thanks for the help!
