flashing/flexing v525

i am a complete n00b at all this flashing/flexing stuff
i just purchased a v525 had it unlocked and want to use it on cingular, however i cant seem to access some of the menus to change the settings i need to change to get gprs/mms working and i was told i need to flash or flex my phone, i did some searching and get conflicting details (ie...camera problems if you flash/flex to an older software vers than you have installed) can someone please clarify if it is ok to flash this phone (details to follow)

phone: vodafone (uk) v525 unlocked
s/w vers : TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.1DR_VA1
flex vers : SE7411AXXB50DD

also are there any complete guides available on setting up the gprs/mms settings after flash/flex is done?

thanks in advance

Hi.

I have the same problem with the same specs.

I want to flex my phone to an o2 or generic flex.

What features does the o2 flex have?

Also, what do I need to flex my phone and where can I get it??

EDIT: Im also interested in flashing my phone to a V600. What problems can this caused and is there a solution for them?

Thanks
