hi

foma m702is dead after connect tp on pin7 of cpu
at first smart clip found it and i do wrong way to unlock it

now it show boot mode on lcd by press *+#+pwr but when i press search key on smart clip it show : no phone found

log:
SmartMoto 2.45
S-Card: ******** Smart-Clip dongle, v 1.52, assigned Smart-Clip: ********** Europe, initializing... OK
Clip serial: *********, version: 3.25, initializing... OK
Searching for phone... no phone found
Searching for phone... no phone found

can i connect it to smart clip by any way and flash it ?

are you shure your usb cabl and usb port is ok??

but im sure its not cable problem because cable work good for another phone

maybe foma cable is different ?

phone in boot mode , unlockl try again, after unlock flash phone with file flash from support area..

i cant detect phone by smartclip or mss it show boot mode but not detect

use scout and put your usb directly to your pc.

when i connect phone to usb port of computer
system show this error: USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZE

try this.. just repaired m702ig in boot mode after wrong unlock.

1. open scout.
2. connect phone in boot mode..(since phone is already in boot mode)
3. flash the phone with firmware (.pcf extension) found on smart clip site.
4. after successful flash your phone will still be in boot mode after pressing ON. dont worry that is normal.
5. open smartmoto.
6. connect again phone in boot mode. make sure that unlock automatically after prepare is checked.
7. smartmoto will ask you to dismantle phone and make testpoint. just follow instruction of software.
8. if all goes well, unlocking procedure will proceed and your phone will be unlocked.
9. after this, your phone will still be in boot mode. (you can check this by pressing ON.)
10. connect again phone in boot mode.
11. uncheck unlock automatically after prepare.
12. click Prepare Smart TestPoint.
13. smartmoto will ask you to dismantle phone and perform testpoint. (just follow the instruction of the software)
14. after prepare process is ok. go to bookmark flash.
15. flash the phone with firmware (.mfw extension) found in smart clip site.
16. after flash click disconnect phone.

done. hope this helps..
just repaired foma M702iG using this procedure.
