| Motorola M930 stuck on bootloader hi i have bought a second hand Motorola M930 fixed car phone when switched on it has a screen with the following: boot loader 08.D5 sw version m930_G_OC.20.71R Phone Code Sig Error: 35:02: Ok to Program Serial (rs-232) Transfer Mode (its says serial but it also has a usb port on it) I dont know anything about this so can anyone explain in layman terms if it is possible to fix this myself and how? is it a big job? thanks |

| This phone i think can be repaired, but i can't find any flash file for it ![]() So i suggest you to download "Motorola Software Update" from official Motorola Site. After that make sure your battery is chagred. After installing "Motorola Software Update", start the software. It will tell you to connect your phone. Now, the phone has to be turned of, press and hold * & # on the phone and while holding these buttons pressed plug the usb cable to the phone and wait 2-3 seconds. The phone should start in bootloader mode with USB connection and computer will install drivers for it. Then after installing drivers, Motorola software Update will recognise the phone and will check for software updates and if exist you can install them, after flashing your phone should work normal. |

| hi i have tried to do this, the phone is recognised by the software, then when it goes to download update it says: "We are sorry, we are currently unable to connect to our server in order to continue with the update" please try again later. it is like this all day, does it work for anyone else or am i doing something wrong?? thanks |
