Motorola V300 - Entering Subsidy Code - GSM-Forum

I have a customer who i have generated an unlock code for. The problem is that her phone will not go past the contact service provider message. It has been on the message for around 48 hours now.

Is there a code i can get her to type in to make the phoneask for the code ? like there is on the A920.
I have done codes for other V300 phones without a problem.

I too have done loads, but have one now with the message contact service provider, has been on screen for over 24 hours.

Yes I resolved the problem, the customer needed to leave it on for 3 days before it asked for the code

Is it really take 2 days to wait untill phone will ask you about
subsidy code?
Did you unlock phone finally?

Yes it really took three days before the phone asked for the code.
The phone is now unlocked

no advertising signatures... sorry, rules...

Is it the same on V525 pls?

Yes it will be the same on the V525,

Sometimes if the phone doesnt ask for the code you need to enter **057* first like on the A920
