Hey Guys

Is it possible to unlock the motorola v3x with a normal usb cable?

I've made a test point (allegator clip + needle)

Ok so ive opened the phone and connected the TP/battrey & usb cable - My computer recognizes the phone.

In smart moto it says it cant read the info because it appears to be in flash mode

Using P2K tool 3.7, 3.9 and 5.3 the phone says it has unlocked - then is powering down.

Obviously when I plug the phone back up it is still asking for the user code.

one thing is user code, the other one is the subsidy code, to erase the user code you just have to search the phone with smartmoto software it will show you the user code then enter it to see if it has been unlocked...bye

In smart moto it says "Searching for phone...found Motorola P2K, getting test interface...interface not found
Phone seems to be in a flash mode, try flash functions

Then i open P2K Easy Tool v5.3 and use the unlockin feature from there.

I guess its not possible from a standard usb cable? and my own TP?

Try to reinstall the usb driver (program files/gsmserver/smartmoto/drivers) the phone v3x must be attached, after installation start smart moto software and tick search

In this case you should first flash the phone,then you can search the phone in normal mode.

In case if the user code is activated and you want to remove it, please connect your phone with TP and flash with full flash using Smart-Clip and SmartMoto.

Use flash file of the same or higher version only.

Hi there

I will love to try flash it - However the phone is no longer in USB mode

Transfer mode: serial RS-232

If anyone knows how to set this back to USB, please advise
