Anyway he has put a orange pay as you go sim card into the phone and it keeps saying unregistered sim card but the same sim card works ok in other phones can anyone please tell what the problem is. Is it because the phone is locked out of a network, is the phone barred, is it because the phone needs to be unlocked to a differant network etc? If it because the phone is barred to orange will it work on any other network? Or will the IMEI number need to be changed? If so is it poss to do and how is the best way to do it can it be done with a data cable etc and what software would I need?
