Motorola V9 if inserted sim stuck on M - GSM-Forum

I got a brand new Motorola V9 which when I insert sim it stucks on M and keeps there for few minutes then its starts screen saver but as I need to put nck in it , it doesnt ask for any thing but just stuck at screen saver , is there any way to enter code in it, when I put motorola test card it works well nothing stucking etc goes in menu but with any other sim card it stucks on screen saver or at M startup.

any help regarding this will be appreciated.

I have got the same problem with 3 pcs.. i have flashed, rested.. etc.. but nothing.. any trick ?

have same problem 1 piece.............this phone is locked
put origine sim card orange phone work other sim phone freeze just log orange.......... peurhaps wrong substy password entered just wait 1h or 8h for counter??? reset..................

Hi all:

I have the same problem here.
Have one V9 from AT&T USA, I have the unlock code but can't enter the code...The phone Hang at star up!!
But If I use the AT&T SIM Card Not Problem... The phone turn on normal...

The same without SIM!!

How can I enter the code???

We will need some HELP!!

After seaching in the web I have found this solution... I will test today with my V9 phone...Hope all will be OK...
I think this is with the AT&T SIM (Or original SIM)

1 - Click on the icon Phone
2 - Enter the following keys: ** 057 *
3 - Mobile displays "locking enter personalization"
4 - Enter the unlock code
5 - Click Ok

You Will See Keypad Icon ..So Click It .It Will Open Phone Keypad ..Enter ** 057 *
Click Oki & It Will Open Code Menu ..Enter Code
