c650 problem - "insert sim"


hello.

Can anybody help me with "insert sim" problem on c650?
I want to know if it's soft or hard problem.

Have you tried to use different sim card? If that also fails, try cleaning the contacts on phone and sim. if it also fails, most probably the software is the problem. Try to upgrade then. But be sure you make back-up first.

check with multimeter from ground if u get reading on 4 pins and one linked to earth.
the top middle pin is normal if no reading,
2ndly) If u opened the phone and did not place the heat shield correctly, also a problem for insert sim, check the shield or remove it if u opened the handset.
