Need help with v3x, no camera and messages full (YES I READ ALL THE OTHER THREADS) - GSM-Forum

Ok, I have a vodafone v3x, it started to show "messages full" and the camera would start, I would turn it off and back on a few times and then it would work, but a little while later the problem was back. So I thought i needed to reflash it. The first MP I flashed it with was "R252211LD_U_85.97.70R_LP002C_DRM0001_JPFI_R25221T MNSIRIUS_01_USRAZRV3XNRDRXXR25221035_1FF_MOTOX.shx " with Rsd lite 3.4, did master clear and master reset. I still had the same problem, then i reflashed with "R252211LD_U_85.99.50R_LP0039_DRM0001_JPRU_R25221G ENERIC_03_USRAZRV3XRURXXR2522100A_1FF.shx", master cleared and reseted, problem was still there, then i started to read all the threads i could find about this problem, everybody was saying the the solution was to flash with "R252211LD_U_85.97.CDP_LP0039_DRM0003_VSTU_206_090 C_JPIT_R25221VFSIRIUS_38_USRAZRV3XVFITR2522107D_1F F.shx", so I did, then master cleared and rested, the problem was still there. All this took me a long time due to the fact the the phn sometimes doesnt turn on so i have to take out the battery and put it back in repeatedly until i get lucky and it turns on. Now I seem to find myself stuck, I read somewhere that I need to "repair pds via test point" but I don't know how to do that or what it means, can someone please help me with this problem its driving me crazy, I would really appreciate it, PLEASE, THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If after full flashing with smart moto didn't help and your phone is not starting then you can do a PDS repair and full flash and phone should start.

This is not your case. If the PDS zone would be corrupt your phone would not start at all.

The fact that you have trouble turning on the phone indicates a hardware problem.

The problem with messages full and camera not working comes from the fact that the software in the phone is not compatible and incorrectly ad******* the memory. The solution is finding the original version of the phone which was released with it and that would solve it. In some cases you might have luck with another version as well.

On the other hand if the physical memory is damaged then of course you will not find any version of soft to fit and the phone will say messages full and the camera won't start as the memory cannot be addressed.

Motorola often behaves similarly (jumps back in the menu) when the camera itself is damaged or the flatcable connecting the camera and mainboard is interrupted.
