Nextel i730 keylocked

I have a nextel i730, well my question is my cousin thought he would be cute and put his cingular chip into my phone and use it. However when i found out and put my nextel back into my i730 the keypads wont work.

its as if im locked out of my phone. i have the security pin for my phone. But now my keys wont work.

Only buttons that work are the power and the button for speaker.

anyone have any ideas??

You have a few options:
1 remove battery and reinsert and test.
2 was the housing changed recently if so remove 4 screws,
seperate the 2 boards and rejoin them making sure they lock in and test.
3. consider adding NSP service plan for $2.99 at your nearest NEXTEL
ASC (Authorized Service Center) because this problem is covered under
NSP and your phone will be repaired/replaced within 1 hour if no liquid/physical
damage. If it is a BOOST i730 then I'm sorry they WWW.BOOSTMOBILE.COM) does not have a service center. In this case you would have to send it to Motorola and you only pay outbound shipping and Motorola will return it in 7 to 10 days but phone must be under the 1 year warranty. link to more info on NSP http://nextel.com/support/servicerepair/index.shtml
