Plis help with my v70


Hi im new here and i would like to see if somebody can help me with this one....i bought a motorola v70 on ebay and the guy say to me that he had the phone from the Virgin Islands and that i would work here in USA , however the phone didnt work ....i use tmobile and when i insert my sim card it says (searching for network) and after that it says no service...caN SOMEBODY HELP TO GET'IT TO WORK HERE IN USA....

there are tow types of moto v70:
1- 850/1900 mhz for US and CANADA
2- 900/1800 mhz for EUROPE
check on the back of the phone under the battery : if you see g900 the phone will not work because it's made for the european market, if it says g1900 than something wrong with the phone

please post your results

US & Canada (North American V70 is a 1900 MHz single band phone.

it dosnt have either g1900 or g900 ...this is what i see on the back of the phone...

Chances are that your phone is a European variant of the V70 (900Mhz/1800Mhz) as you wrote the IMEI as 449280xxxxxxx. The North American V70 IMEI start with 010xxxxxxxxx and they work on 1900 MHz. I dont think you can use it in USA. You cant flash or flex it work in North America because it is limited by hardware.

If the phone keeps searching for network and then says NO SERVICE - this is a classic symptom of an unsupported Band.

menu >> Settings >> Phone Status >> Other information >> Technology

He say frecuency what work

If not work in 1900MHz test to change to 1900MHz with Motorola Test Card
