PST unable to detect A835 using USB cable - GSM-Forum

HI,
I cannot connect my phone to PST 6.7 cracked. However, i am able to use mobile phone tools to connect and work with my phone.

using xp with sp1 and pst system updates.

Is their any trick to connect phone to pst using usb cable??

Asmar,

the real problem is that i recieved a835 to sim locked. I unloced it but still it doesn't detect local network or in other words their are no signal. I believe that phone is locked to specific frequency internally. Because its a tri band network and should accept all frequencies. Is it possible that verizone wireless has set it to US based frequency so, its not working with anyohter frequency.

By the way my frequeny is 900/1800.

can flashing/flexing can solve this problem. Please, remember that few other a835 does work perfactly with my local network.

ok did u search in the menu of phone to change the network to work on 900\1800
some moto have this function.

phone shows: Automatic , 1900 and WCDMA. These are the available options. I already played with them with but no no for me.

I flaxed it with a file downloaded from twister support with PST and it locked my phone to some network. I again have to unlock it first.

Isn't their any custom (unrestricted) firmware/flex file floating around for my a835??

Is their any option in PST 6.7 for backing up firmware/flex for later usage?
