Razr V3r + 0A.52 + Magic Test Point... What am I doing wrong?

I have unlocked many phones in the past and have had no problems unlocking normal Razr V3 phones. I have several V3r phones with the 0A.52 boot loader. I bought an UBL Magic Test Point button, but I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly. I plugged the button into the connector on the main board, plugged in the USB cable going to my computer, then while holding the button down plugged in the battery, then released the battery. When I try to flash with the V3r ******* File (R4515_G_08.BD.43R_PDS005_LP0039_DRM0101_JPJAVA_G_ 08_R4515_06_00_02R_SE6763AXXB107E_1FF_MotoFon.RU.s hx), I get the following error in RSD Lite v4.1: "Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Phone[0000]: Incompatible superfile for subscriber unit state. (0x430703a); phone connected".

I get the same error on all of the phones. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Is there an easier / better way to unlock the V3r phones with the 0A.52 bootloader?

Thanks!
Jon

Thanks, but as I said, I have the magic test point button, so I would obviously prefer going that route instead of breaking open the cover to short the test point. Is the UBL Magic Test Point not an option?

Thanks!

Thanks guys! I was trying to make this WAY too difficult. I was under the impression that I would be taking it back to the 07.DO firmware. I didn't realize that I just needed to downgrade to 0A.30, unlock, then reflash with an unbranded firmware. If anyone else has this problem, I followed this guide:

...and got the flash files here:

Thanks again for everyone that tried to help!

Jon

Hi
I use the magic testpoint frequently my steps ( useing Smartmoto ) are;
1. disassemble phone and connect ubl test point with BAT marking towards the battery connector
2.Hold the button in on ubl and push the battery up to the contacts
3.click searh in smartmoto
4. After smartmoto detects the phone you can release the ubl button
now continue with testpoint unlock as normal .
I have not used RSD but the proceedure should be very similiar and I don't think you actually need to flash anything .
Steve
