power on phone with wrong card and enter **057* phone show on display enter unlock code........ enter unlock code how give u provider......... ur phone is unlocked know so enjoy.

for F3 no need to enter **057*,
just insert non accepted sim,
fone will display:
-----
-----
-----

just enter your unlock code and volia

On the newer F3's they say INSERT SIM when wrong SIM is inserted.

Maybe that solution won't work on newer motorola phones such as V9 V3xx V6...,in this case take a look here:

thx for info. works for me, on moto V9, but not with Settings>USB>GNPO USB Driver. i use Settings>USB>M-Link USB Driver

the code was accepted, but the phone freeze with vodafone symbol from the begining

insert wrong card, press C (upper red power on button) and 073887* . ask for code, input code and works.
