SLVR L7 - some help needed with Ringer IDs - GSM-Forum

I'm having a small issue with my SLVR L7 which is baffling me somewhat.

I know how to set a ringer ID for a partilcular phonebook entry, so I can have a different ringtone assigned to just that person.

However, whatever ringtone I assign to that person is then also used for that persons text message notification sound

- which is not what I want at all.

Is it possible to configure a different ringtone for one specific phonebook entry, whilst at the same times having that persons text message sound remain as the default?.....

IT Cannot work my friend.U should be happy with the ringer ID.The message

Wow - that seems really stupid

As an example - I have a ringer ID set up for my girlfriend, with a 10 second mp3 clip to play as the ringtone, assigned just to her. Now I really don't want that music clip playing every time she sends me a text message

- but I understand its not possible to seperate the two then? - bugger.....
