Strange problem with unlocking Razr V3 - GSM-Forum

Hello guys!

I spent hours reading all posts here about unlocking razr V3 and tried to follow all instruction but here is what I get.

First of all here is information about phone:

Boot Loader: 07.E0
SW Version: R374_G_0E.40.5.7R

When I try to dowgrade boot loader program says 'No need to downgrade', when I try to backup it program says 'phone not supported'. When I try to unlock it with Mot Unlocker it says 'unlock done' but phone still locked

How to be, what's wrong with this phone?

I use MultiFlashFlex Tool Version 1.8 ( comes with PST 7.2.3) to Flash it with BL 07.D0 . Then use P2K Easy Tool v3.9 to unlock. Works 100%

07.E0 doesn't need to downgrade at all! Anyway, use original sw, that will work for sure, not like cracked one

Hey

I wonder if anyone can help? Ive got a motorola V3 originally from UK Orange.
The bootloader is 07.E0, & SW Version: R374_G_0E.40.3CR

I've tried p2k easy tools v3.9, as follows:

1. turned phone on to boot loader mode.

2. installed to pc the driver for P2k easy took v3.9

3. ran P2k easy tool v3.9 application

4. went to "Locks" tab and ticked "unlock SP"

5. selected phone model "V3 RAZR"

6. clicked "Do selected Jobs"

7. dialog box displayed:

Connecting to phone ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Flash'
Connected OK
Bootloader version: 07E0
Sending loader to phone ...
ERROR: Sending second loader (2)
ERROR: Send loader failed (1)

Result. I turned phone off, inserted non Orange sim card (T-Mobile), turned phone on and phone says "enter subsidy password"!!!

(BTW I originally tried an application called "Motorola unlocker"
which I obtained via an ebay auction promising to provide software to unlock my V3 Razr - suffice to say that didn't work either)

Ive spent hours trawling forums, and emailing the jackass I purchased dodgy software from ebay off and no joy. Please help!

further to my earlier message I should add that when I run p2K, it gets to "Sending loader to phone ..." & the progress bar goes from 0 to 100%. Thereafter, the program indicates nothing for a bit and then it displays the two error messages:

ERROR: Sending second loader (2)
ERROR: Send loader failed (1)

.. and there you have it.

ok, as I told above, USE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE, cracked one sometimes not work!!!

Well to make you happy, try to reinstall p2k drivers, maybe you have driver faulty. (or go to control panel, hardware config and remove USB root, and do a search for hardware changes, this will fix driver problems). Enjoy yourself.

This version you can unlock direct with Smart-Clip.testet more times

Downgrading is no need if you're using smartclip, it is applicable only to v3 with v8.26 and higher

further to my earlier posts, I've re-installed the p2k drivers, and downloaded different versions of p2k tools - all to no avail.

I note that some p2k tools packages cause my phone to switch off.

I take it Im supposed to use the "unlock SP" option under the locks tab?

Also, Im performing the p2k tools operation with the phone connected with a motorola usb cable and the phone in Boot loader mode (hold * & # when turning phone on).

Any one have any other suggestions?
