| T260 Internet Profiles / GPRS Hi there Please help, I do not want the technicians to snow me on this one! I have a T260, bought with GPRS switched off, (phone is SP unlocked), however Internet profiles are locked (say "Restricted" when trying to edit - I *think* this is how they switched access to GPRS off). Anyhow, GPRS goes live here a few days ago and I get GPRS in lower right, install PC software and get a GPRS data connection and IP number, however phones profile is not set up and won't let me do so manually. Software version is AF.7S.CD. Conclusions/Assumptions: GPRS is *not* switched off, SP has tamered with software to lock users out of Internet Setup profiles thus supposedly rendering GPRS disabled. Solution upgrade/downgrade software to version that is a Mototorola orgininal, that has these profiles unrestricted. Is this correct?? What is the latest unrestricted software version for the T260?? I want Motorola to fix and do not want to sit with a ***** full of teeth and my #$@% in my hand while the moto tech says *NO*. PS: being a Linux/Computer hacker make me not a mobile phone guru.... any and all advice would be most welcome. |
