T720 doesn't work with USB Hi, Here comes the problem: my laptop cannot detect my T720 via the USB cable (SKN6311B), but it does detect the phone via the serial cable (SKN6315A). I have: - Flash: T720_G_05.07.29R_flash.shx - Flex: SE4567AXXB1125.hs All that I want now is to push these stuff into the phone. But the tricks here are: - PST cannot detect the phone. (PST only works with USB cables, right?) - Victor MSS works with both cables (USB & Serial), but I haven't got the equivalent flash file (*.vfl) Much appreciated for your advices, Email: lamquangminh97@yahoo.com

Are you sure that we can use PST to flash the phone via a Serial cable? I use P2K 6.7 GENERAL (cracked version :-)): - It cannot detect the phone via USB cable (due to my phone failure, perhaps) - It does detect the phone via Serial cable, but its buttons labeled: "Flash" and "Verify" are not enabled. So what would you do in this case?

Solution found I've just found the way to solve this problem out. 1. Use Victor to flash the phone with T720_G_05.05.015R_full_flash.vfl 2. Use PST to flash it with T720_G_05.07.29R_flash.shx 3. Use Victor to flex it with T720_Manufacturing_Flex_Model_GM5T0AA052.vhs 4. Use PST to flex it with SE4567AXXB1125.hs Right before the flex SE4567AXXB1125.hs was forced into the phone, it (the phone) could be easily detected by any software via a USB cable. Afterwards, it couldn't be detected. ==> maybe this flex causes troubles.

Thank you, guy. But I don't have an ICQ account, I've only got a Yahoo's: lamquangminh97@yahoo.com. Besides, I'm resident in Asian Pacific. --> Timing differences might be a problem for an online conversation. So drop me a message, why don't you? BTW, have you got any links as regards phone's architecture/schematics, flash/flex, ...? Pls share, if possible. I'm just curious about it. :-)

Minh Lam, may be your USB cable has problem, becau your phone can't detect with Victor or PST. If you use Win2k, XP . . .all of them are autor detect device. another case, you dont have usb_driver for T720

A phone and a computer are sucessfully connected only if all of the 4 following conditions are satisfied: 1. The phone's hardware & firmware OK; 2. The computer's hardware & firmware OK; 3. The cable OK; 4. The phone's & the computer's COMPATIBLE; At first, my phone could not be detected by my computer, while other phones could. I did jump to a conclusion that: the phone faulty. --> It was a totally wrong conclusion! In fact, my phone's firmware is a special one. So it needs a special driver (different from USBMOT2000.INF; P2K.INF). I've installed that special driver into my computer. And now, it works well. :-) In short, the problem occured because the item no. 4 above was not satisfied!
