Tracfone w370 and browsing sites and restricted usb - GSM-Forum

I have a tracfone motorola w370 and I want to go to various mobile sites to download ringtones and to see the weather and stuff like that. But apparently you can't get to any site except the tracfone mobile site. Is there any way to unlock the web browser? And I also wanted to try the usb plug to put on mp3's but they restricted that TOO!!!!!

Is there anyway to do this but still be compatible with the tracfone service?

tested with infinity ...flash with w375 flashfile then unlock

Oh ya. I heard about that around the forums. Unfortunately I can't afford $235 dollars...... Thanks for the info though.

I guess I will have to deal with Tracfone's retartedness for now.....

dont flash it cause u r using tracfone service and it only works with tracfone firmwares. btw theres a free way of unlocking w370 tracfone which is the same as using box, just use dmtool and flash files from w375.
another thing, this is in the wrong section w370 is ODM series.

Wait. So you are saying that if I flash the w375 firmware it will not work with Tracfone service?

But doesn't that require you to be able to use the usb slot on the phone with the computer? (Tracfone disabled it, only charging is allowed through computer usb)

I just bought a Motorola v370 with Tracfone service. (I've been a devoted Tracfone user for years. This is my 4th or 5th phone with them.) I knew that I could only access their website when I bought the phone, but since that ****aged technogeek unlocked the iphone, I figured that someone must have figured out a way to unlock the Tracfone WAP browser.
