v66 "invalid battery"


anyone have any ideas how to get phone to charge? Battery is flat and phone just displays "invalid battery" Must be battery as same problem with battery inserted in alternative phone. Any ideas how to gat power back into it, battery is only a few weeks old? thanks in advance

Thats because it is not a genuine battery and some non-genuine batteries have different voltage supply - phone will display incorrect voltage!!

I had same problem with a T191 and after buying genuine battery, had no problems!

Thanks for your help yeldar but it is a nearly new phone, just been replaced by orange and with genuine new motorola battery, guess i will just have to get on to orange and see if they will send a replacement, thanks for your help

hi

had the same problem a month ago 100% bat problem, unfortunately u cannot wake the bat up(usually by giving it a quick shock by connecting it direct to the power supply briefly)since motorola have protection inside the bat, i replaced the bat under warranty the problem got solved!
