V66 on/off problem - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have a v66 which keeps powering down then back on again, anybody know problem?
a solution?

Is it only doing this with a vodafone simcard ? if not which simcard r u using ? have u tried others ?

Hi Nab,
It is doing it with 121 and orange sim, sometimes it will stay on for a full day then just off/on reg for 2secs then off again, on reg etc.

I've seen the v66 unlocked by full flashing have this problem with the NEWER simcards, try a really old one and let me know if it is ok with it.

Wish it was John, this was a brand new one I gave to replace a "poor batt job" so I know its history !!

U dont have much luck sometimes

Mind u I have had similar things happen to me

But usually with T2288's / C520's etc
