Member: 29243 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | i have unlocked about 5 of these 010 phones from the US and they are fully operational on the 1800mhz band in the caribbean without problems... i think the hardware is tri-band in ALL v70's (correct me if i am wrong) just need correct software.. try to flex the phone again. if not working try to flash then flex 900/1800... hope this helps |

Member: 71892 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 13 | Hi Yes Trini you are right, I did the same with a Motorola T720i - 0101, (unlock and flex it with 900-1800 but the signal was very weak only 30%. I read in someone post that we have to do a mod to the hardware to solve that problem. If any one knows something about this, plz post here. Sorry my English Thanks |

Member: 29243 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | i've done both the v70 and the t720 the v70's work fine not the t720... i think the hardware in the v70 is tri-band even thou the software on the phone and some websites say differently (correct me if i am wrong again) the v70's that i did was from t-mobile. dont know if that makes a difference.. anyways the t720 strictly dual band.... i think i saw on another forum the v70 is triband (special edition)... i have not had any problems with the v70 on 1800mhz dont have 900 where i live so i cant test it.. hope this helps.. |
