C650 Not booting after flash

I am using PST to flash/flex C650
I flashed/Flexed the phone with the SuperFile (*.shx). It went OK. But now it won't come out of the Flash mode (Transfer Mode).

When the phone reboots, it goes into the flash mode. I tried removing the battery and putting it back on. Still goes to flash mode. Please let me know what I should try next.

Message on unit is
Boot Loader
07.B0
SW Version:
R3364_G_0B.D1.1
ER

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

Regards,

what version flash file did you try to flash the phone with???

if its an earlier version the phone will NOT turn on only flash mode so check that make sure you always use same or newer version of flash

@nedim76

Did you succeeded in getting you c650 out of boot mode? I have a similar problem with my c650, after flashing it I can enter in boot mode pressing * # and ON keys and I can flash it ... but I can't turn it on in normal mode, so no way to flex it. Maybe the two problems are somehow related, let's try to find a solution.

@ mrx688

unfortunately not yet. at the site Maxtor sugested I found out the you have to use TP (test point) to flash it. But when you use TP, the phone is "Unknown divice" to my PC. please try to find the diver for it and let me know if any progress.

TP=>Connect MOD to B+, put battry back, connect cable. then look for driver (if u get drver, pls let me know).

you dont need test point
use radiocomm and flash phone with same flash file.. this turns phone into blank neptune..

then use pst to flash the phone with the same image flash file..

firmware ER is newer than AR so I guess thats why the phone is not powering on in the first place...
hope this works.

good luck post results...

Trying to find a way out

Ok this is the "story" of my C650

1) Flashed with radiocomm : ended up in a dead c650. That means the cell was not turning on and it was impossible to switch it into flash mode using * # and ON keys. Cheched out with PST and discovered that PST was actually seeing it as a BLANK NEPTUNE

2) Flashed with PST : got a error msg saying I needed a rom superfile to flas a blank cell. I downloaded the C650 repair image found on ************ and re flashed my 650 using that image
R364_G_0B.D1.1AR_B_LP0003_DRM0001_GMIV180001AA0B7

3) The situation now is as follows: the cell doesn't turn on, it may be switched into flash mode using * # and ON keys but that's all. I can't load any flex in it since it is in flash mode and PST refuses to flex a cell in this state. I've tried test point but to no avail: the cell is not recognized by XP and I have found no suitable drivers.

@trini_dma which flash did you use?
@nedim76 any (good) news?

@ mrx688

Still no good news. In my case, I used PST again to flash it with another superflash file (Image, I think it might have been for new/blank fash chips). Now it says.

Boot Loader
07.B0
SW Version:
R364_G_0B.D1.1
AR_B

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

Then used Radiocomm to falsh. then used PST and it flashes fine with the phone at bank screen. But it still starts to flash mode only.

Please post any other solution.

HELP!! ANY body???.

then the original version was higher and repair image still will not work..(i'm only 90% sure about this)
all you need now is flash file same version as the phone came with or higher...
thats all you needed in the first place..not the repair image..
You cannot downgrade these new motorola phones.. they dont turn on.
i dont have the D1.1 ER FLASH..

Latest i have is BR that wont help...

Hold down and keep holding # and * buttons on the phone keyboard and while holding it (only # and *) press POWER ON button
