Victor and XP? - GSM-Forum

I have installed my usb cable for motorola phones , but when i start Victors software it conects phone and it shows error : acess violation at adress 00000004, read of adress 00000004. I have tried compatibility mode but with same result , some functions in victor work and some does not like eeprom reading , read logo and so on.
Did somebody had this problem and how to solve it , please dont tell me that I need to install win98SE.

Ok thanks , I have tried to unlock v66 and all was ok ,with error massage at begining but it worked.

I am going to see how it works on Win me now.

WIn ME is biggest c.rap. Just try on Windows 2000 and it will work absolutely PERFECT.

Victor works for me under WXP, but better is W98SE.

W98SE is not stable. Try on W2000.

Yes, W2000 is more stable, but W98SE is more better for communication. But everything is better than XP when you want use cable for mobile

Victor always prefers NT.... and it's quite un-stable on W98!

I have tried us this soft on win 98, win me and win xp profesional. Every time work perfect. I fing so problem in hardware ( computer ).

AS MUCH COMPUTERS, AS MUCH PROBLEMS - Yes, problem is in software, but in hardware too. I saw much cables with sw & phones they don´t work on one pc but works on third PC. It´s about configuration of all components: it depends on: SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, and USER :-))))))

Programme is programme and equipment this separate matter.

It works two years programme of Victor
and I do not have problem on programme. Mayby differend components in computer , mayby configuration. Al work ok.
