W510 dead after rsd - GSM-Forum

I used RSD lite on my w510, everytime it gets stuck on "PLEASE MANUALLY POWER UP THIS PHONE". I remove the battery, put it back in.. RSD shows "Success". The phone wont power up, the keypad blinks and thats it. I can enter boot loader no problem, but thats about it. What am i doing wrong?

What bootloader screen shows ? Software version and the bootloader ?
And what flash file are you using ?

You can put the backup file to recovery the phone?

i can, but i dont have the correct backup. All i can find is ESP files. I cant find a normal english firmware R452GL8

its seems after the different sw my phone does not see any networks... now what did i do wrong?

What network is used in your country ?

900/1800

or

850/1900

?

Because this flash file that i gave you is for Claro and i think it's locked for 850/1900mhz only.

Check in the phone menu for Network Settings and try to change them. If not work then the solusion is writing flex file with RSD Lite called 'quad band activate' and then phone should have all network setting activated.
This is the flex file:

Phone has to be powered on and with sim card inside when you flash this flex.
