What can unlock K1/s with 16 digit code?

I have a number of the later model K1/s that take a 16 digit subsidy code - these are the ones with the 0400 IROM Neptune LTE2 and R47121 firmware - the last time I checked, there was no solution for these phones except getting the unlock code from the operator.

Have there been any updates to this situation?

Got one now in 2017 and I have the same question, however I applied for roger/fido unlock code and it returned as error without any reason...
