Member: 181633 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 729 | I have done many C139 v1.9.24 from Cingular and all was unlocked ok with the usual method: (from Smart-Clip web site) SE J100/C115/C116/C117/C118/C139/C140/C155/C156/E365/V170/V171 unlocking procedure 1. Power off the phone. 2. Connect the Clip to the phone using RJ45 cable. 3. Press UNLOCK button. 4. Press Power button on the phone within 5 seconds after you press UNLOCK button on the Clip. RX/TX leds will blink. 5. E/G led will glow green on success.* * After successful unlock (green led on) phones with inserted sim card may ask for PCK or NCK code. Enter 00000000 ("zero" 8 times). |

Member: 37245 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | New Version cingular phones c139 are out same problem here. seems like the phone wont connect and will boot before connecting to any software or clip. they might have modified the board. if anyone needs a sample of the phones , i can ship immidiatly. any help or suggestion will be great. thanks |

One with a number 8 after the 3 zero's and one with the number 5 after them and sure enough I could unlock the one one with the 5 in the IMEI but not the 8. They have definitely came out with a new breed. |

Member: 181633 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 729 | Today came to me a Cingular's C139 with '7' in IMEI, when I connect to SmartClip and press unlock button the phone begins to boot by itself but I pressed the PWR button inmediatly when its lights the screen and...phone unlocked!!!! Try this solution, I don't know if it would work with IMEI '8' C139's. Br |

See some of my past posts. I am not the only one having this issue. I have never been able to get a smartclip to work on these Cingular C139 phones. I've been complaining on this board about this issue for months. The only reason I bought the SC was to unlock this phone and it has failed ot do the job. I am now stuck with a $300 doorstop unless they do an update that fixes the issue. I have posted videos on youtube proving that the problem exists. See my old posts for the links. PLEASE UPDATE... I AM BEGGING YOU! | |
