DMTools experts: Use DMTools to unlock phone from SimLock - GSM-Forum

Is anybody able to explain how DMTools can be used to unlock the simlock from a phone.

I understand:
1: DMTools Version 3.18 is the right tool to solve this problem.
2: You need a database file
3: Just for unlocking the database file must not the 100% match with the phone.

I hope:
1: With the above conditions DMTools is able to give the unlock code
2: It is not req. to create a (serial) link to the phone (Database file must not match with the phone)
3: Seem there exist a possiblity to emulate the phone flash

I have:
1: A Motorola C200
2: A Download of DBTools 3.18 from: URL=http://serwis.gmbsystems.pl/upload/dmtool3_18.zip
( I hope it is V3.18 because the about window says 3.15 ?!?)
3: A database file from:
http://download.******.com/telefonos/Motorola/MH1171 - which is be good for a T191 Motorola phone.

But I am stucked with operation of DBTools. Mybe special tricks are required.

The database must be ASxxxx not MHxxxx type. So try harder

Thank you I found with the help of BILDA the linke

seems that is what I need.
Just waiting for the cable.

Funny question: Is it correct, you will use the ear output of the phone for you datacable as well? (Motorola C200)

Use cable for T19x.

Look around you. The soft is everywhere just open your eyes and use search option.
