Motorola MPX 220 no service solution !!!! - GSM-Forum

Flash with "Cingular 1.43" firmweare , download regedit.cab.txt , delete ".txt" copy to your MPX220 instal it.
After in phone go start -> PHM Registry editor -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Control panel -> Phone -> Values -> SendCALLID ,and change value data from 0 to 1, then restart phone.
After go to "network settings" and change "Network selection" from "automat" to "manual" then rastart .

Its all ! ! !

One problem though. I can receive text messages but not send, because I am unable to save the sms service center number. Every time I enter it it refuses to be saved. How can I fix this? Thanks.

I think this solution works only for 1.43 xcingular. i have tested with others, it does not work. Only Xcingular 1.43
