| MPX220 Firmware backup and restore Hi. I have three MPX220, one retail unlocked (brown), and two from Vodafone Spain (silver). Amazingly, the expensive unlocked one has a firmware version so old that has so many bugs the phone is almost unusuable. The silver ones, have a newer version, that while isn't the last one avaible, has most of the bugs the brown one fixed. What I want, is to someone to explain me how I can backup the firmware from the sliver one and flash it to the brown one. I know there are floating in the Internet lots of MPX220 firmwares, but I don't want to flash the brown MPX220 to find it unable to use spanish language, or to find it locked to some phone company from a far away country. I don't even mind if the phone (currently unlocked) gets locked to Vodafone spain, because is the company I'm actualy on. I'm open to other suggestions, too. Thank you in advance. |
