B2100 -SP=VIRGIN UK -How2 enable for VIRGIN SA? - GSM-Forum

Ive tried VIRGIN SA (South Africa)- Far too complicated for them! hence Im here ...B2100 was purchased on PAYG from VIRGIN UK in London. It requires 30 PDS airtime to obtain unlock code . I was given phone & want to use a VIRGIN SA sim card but SA & UK support staff find it too complicated to understand that I dont want use of UK card for SA. Called UK helpdesk 3 x @ 2BPDS already - email reply - similar to an automated response - same reply! *#$*%!
I will put similar amount airtime in SA currency but need unlock code 1st! In fact since its still on Virgin but different region maybe someone can advise the way around this!

BTW why is there NO unlock code on public forums as with majority of ph models for this model? Is it a matter of time before available or is software not compatible to be decoded? (forget about posting or clips etc..)
