1. Power on your phone with a non-accepted SIM card. A non-accepted SIM card is a SIM from another network provider, other than the network you originally bought your phone from.
2. Wait for your phone to read: “Enter unlock/ subsidy code” or “SIM Network Unlock PIN”.
3. Enter the unlock code you received i
4. Your phone will read: “Unlock Successful”.

If your LG is not asking for an unlock code and it only reads “Network Locked. Emergency calls only” or “Insert correct SIM card” you can use one of these two formulas:

2945#*model number# For example, if you have an LG ***** P940 you enter 2945#*940#

or

*#865625#

I'm not sure how or what to do? I put a tmobile SIM card in
