How to repair your LG u880

Hi all.
This procedure is made for who kill his phone, by incorrect flashing, by incomplete flashing, or simply for system's errors, like lock Three Logo, or on initial slide

What Do You Need
  • Original USB data cable
  • LG firmware (that you can choose it HERE )
  • Flasher (that can be found HERE)
How to Repair Your Phone
  • Power your phone in Boot mode, pressing together 2 + 5 + power
  • Now start LGDMP
  • Connect Phone to Software
  • It will restart
  • Your PC will find it in normal mode
  • Now make a full flash with the three files of selected firmware (Muse, Media, Module)
  • At the end of flashing, LGDMP will update the DB
  • Make it finish his work
  • Congratulations, your u880 is now alive
Problems

What's the best firmware?
You can choose 10a or 10b...there are few differences, but nothing really important

Why on Connecting Mobile to LGDMP, it restart but dont power on?

It's normal. You have only to wait the end of flashing

I forgot to make a backup of NV, what can i do in case of errors?

You can simply use the one that can find in this topic --- > HERE

Try the files from here,

http://www.usb-smart.com/U880/

thats what I used to flash my U880, but its for the Italian U880, for the UK one you need a different Media file Available here:

http://rapidshare.de/files/19341599/...3G-UK.rar.html

- I think a media file can be converted into another country's U880 some how, but not sure

Thanks for this useful posting and the links

I must admit that registering was a little difficult to comprehend BUT with a little thought and navigation was in fact quick and easy.
