if i get code from att which is 16 digits whats the procedure to enter this code in the cu575 from att ? the cu500 procedure does not work, which is put in wrong sim and enter 159753#*#

I've tried entering the program codes above, however it doesn't allow me to enter in the unlock code. I have a CU575 Trax for ATT / Cingular- How do I enter the unlock code so that I may use this phone with other networks?
