Member: 71874 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 34 | LG KC910 "Please wait..." I have a LG KC910 on the Vodafone network and couldn't view youtube videos from my handset. Having searched various forums it was suggested to update the firmware on the phone. I downloaded the LG updater from the LG website and followed the procedure detailed in their sites. The phone updates to 78% and get the error below. I have tried two computers and usb cables but no success and the handset states "please wait..." on the screen. Searched through the forum i have downloaded LGMDP_1[1].5_build_12.14_Sep_16_2008 and tried to update the firmware but this also report errors; "error! module writing". The phone powers on and gives the "please wait..." message on the screen and doesn't go any further. Does anybody know how i can rectifiy this problem or what has caused this? LG who have destroyed my handset don't want to know. The phone was working 100% before the update. Thanks Maj |
