streamr89 Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Posts: 1 Member: 1217135 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0	LG KE800 stuck on "insert sim card" error Upon turning the phone on, I get an error saying "insert SIM card". The phone is stuck on this and I can't get into the main screen at all. Also, I can't seem to flash it using GSMulti ver 2.1 since its in mass storage mode and doesn't seem to show a COM port. What are my options? Is it possible to manually change to data service mode (which is the mode for syncing and flashing I presume). How else can I flash the phone myself or fix it without taking it to the shop? I've tried going into Engineering mode using 2945#*# but I can't find any options to change it. From here I've done a factory reset with no change. I've tried different sim cards and that hasn't helped either.. Please, any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
