Member: 996529 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | n00b question!? So ive heard a lot about flashing phones and updating firmwire etc. And i know its generally accepted that its a good thing to do this. I realise it makes phones more stable to be more up to date, but id like to know how and why it makes things more stable? I.E im going to buy an LG cookie, and i want to know why i should go through with the trouble of updating the firmwire. Is it dangerous? What's the difference once its done? I mean is there any real difference or is it just technical jargin that changes? Ive had a search around the forum for posts of this nature and couldnt find any. But if i've duplicated any post's im sorry! P.S this is a genuine question so please bear with the newby |
