Possibility to unlock Lg U890 but still..... - GSM-Forum

The problem is very starnge so i beg u guys to focus on it as hard as u can.
I'm from poland and recently i bought LG U890, for some time the phone was unlockable but for a week time most of gsm service points are able to unlock the phone. I run like Forrest Gump to unlock it, asked if its really possible they replied positively with a hudge smile i handed over them the phone and after half an hour they said its not possible with my particular phone becouse its not an oridinary U890. Can anyone tell me whats wrong???

I must mention that they told me they never saw that **** before and the have unlocked some of U890.

maybe because some firmware version are not unlock-able

and they can't flash your phone...
ASK form more info to them and then post.
either if you have a link of the mobilephone company where you buy the 890.
or it's a no-brand one?

u890 isnt unlockable so if they said it is unlockable then they didnt know about it so after figuring it out they told u an excuse so that they didnt appear "silly"

Thats what they told me i cant get more out of them becouse they say its a matter of their business for me to not know what exactly are they doing with the phone and in what order, coz i could do it myself and they are trying to prevent it. As i look in test menu i see that the factory version is beginning with U900FL-..... and the sw and media are UK but module version is italian could that be the problem?? I bought the phone on an internet aution and dont know the exact history of it.

u890 isnt unlockable so if they said it is unlockable then they didnt know about it so after figuring it out they told u an excuse so that they didnt appear "silly"

I must say you are wrong. I bought that phone 2 or 3 month ago and the first time i been there it was " no sorry unlockable, we will contact you as soon as it will be doable" so they did but they were suprised that they couldn't manage my phone. They also said that they have unlocked some u890 but mine was a bit different. i've been to a couple of gsm service points with exactly the same story.

dear friend yes ther is some version dosen't want to unlockable and ther is one way to unlock it with original flashs use furious-gold and evry thing slove if *** want

dear friend ther is one solution to slove your problem its :
you must try to flash your fhone with original flashes if your fhone italian use italian flash if uk use uk flash...ext and if *** want evry thing be ok

maybe you are right but since the service guys told me that they have tried all flash trick they know and i know these gsm services are one of the best in my region i truly bielieve them. As thjey have told me the problem is my phone is different becouse its not an ordinary ver of the U890 so as i wrote ealier my FW ver is u890FL-.... can anyone check if its the same in their phones??

U 890 possible to unlock by full flashing.
After unlock its need 3G sim.Without 3G sim Its saying insert usim

that's a pity i would really need it to be working with a regular 2G sim card. i hope it will be possible soon
