S310 Firmware update by USB - GSM-Forum

LG S310 firmware update procedure by microusb cable:

1. Install drivers LGUnitedMobileDriver_S498MA21_WHQL_ML_Ver_2.1.exe and MCCI(r)Firmware Update Driver for MTK.exe.
2. Install MULTIGSM v3.0, place DLL to models directory.
3. Start MULTIGSM v3.0, go to settings, select DLL and firmware.
4. Press start and wait until "Reading S/W File! Please wait a minute!" message dissapear.
5. Remove battery from phone, hold down * and insert microusb cable
6. Wait about 2 minutes. You've done, enjoy

P.S. Just tried this method on Win7 64-bit.

It does not work for me, phones connected for 2,3 seconds and then disconncted LG-GSM Multi Downloader does not recognize phone

Check phone driver again, or try another usb port and cable.....

I am a bit confused about drivers, whether install them manually or let the window install them itself and if manually then which file to select for it?

I have done with UART. Successfully done with com port.

I have spent some time searching, but could not get hold of any LG s310 firmware, where could i get it (russian, or eastern european localisation preferred, but i could try something else out too)

Why not? I flashed this phone on my old PC and on my new too, where win xp is installed on VMWare and for compatibility USB was set to v1.1. If you read Service manual for this phone, you may notify that LG recommend to use USB 1.1 ports for flashing, not USB 2.0. May be it's your problem.

If you can read file using gpgdragom box an upload can connect ok with gpg box and auto format ok too but set not aluve

I can successfully read info by rx tx

I want to flash the phone by gpg format file if you can please share
