probable you have not read well among the lines... I have spoken of sim-lock, not of operator-lock.

I think he means it swaps it from 3G to GSM, but does not unlock it to other networks......although I may be wrong

simply, in italia every telephone 3 work only with Your card 3.Se you insert another card 3 they stop the net. if it stays in roaming the other usims you/they can be used 3, naturally it doesn't unlock the telephone to insert the vodafone ect.
